Jim.
I intend to make a proper release post in a few days.

JA very kindly made the official binaries for me again. I won't have access to a Windows system to check them until the end of the month, but have never had issues with his Windows compiles before, so I have full faith that they are excellent! If anyone wants to test Winter v5.0, they are safe to use.

Based on my regression test, I think the improvement is about half the improvement we got in the v4.0 release. It has been 2 years and I like the current play style (no idea what any of the community's play style metrics say, but I personally like it), so I felt it is a good time to make an official release. My plan is to start training networks again soon, which I have not done in almost 2 years.

Congrats! Winter is one of the engines I enjoy playing personally. Glad to see it's still in development.

Hello brother. I'm training for a national tournament and I need Quantide Chronos 3 its a strong one tricky. I have tried the one by you, no armv8 dotprod no arm8 no armv7 no one is working in chess for android. Droidfish and Chess Engine Tournament don't work on my phone. Please do Quantide Chronos 3 for armv8/dotprod to work in chess for android 6.2.1 please embedded or directly apk how its easier for you. Greetings 🤗

Hi,

Quanticade doesn't work in Chess For Android. Chess For Android has issues running many UCI engines where Droidfish does not. I cannot fix this. You will need to contact Chess For Android author Aart Bik.

Hi,

I can compile the src code with no errors but executable just exits when run.
