As always, thank you, Jim for your work! I'm running a test now and I'll let you know how much better your build is than mine - because it always is!
Hi again,
I have no idea why other people are having trouble with your builds, although I didn't test all of the them. I only tested your avx2-zen2 builds (both uci and winboard) against my winboard build, and yours is about +20 elo in self-play.

+20 Elo is a big difference !
I didn't test the JA version in a GUI (will do so later) but it works from the command line (xboard). I tested the bmi2 version on my Intel, and the avx2-zen2 version on my old Zen+ AMD. In both cases, with the default ini file. Both worked fine.

Just installed myrddin_095_64_ja_avx2_zen2.exe under ChessGUI same as Graham uses - runs fine (AMD Zen+ )
Still no joy here, even with the xboard or -xboard commands.

I didn't use the xboard or -xboard commands in the GUI. Just installed it normally and it worked.
Does it work at the command line ? i.e. double-clock the exe, type xboard, then type new and then type analyze.
Anyway, the author's compile works for you so it isn't worth the hassle, just use that.
