It's too slow... I just can't use this site. I have some spare time now, is there anything I can help the devop team to optimise it? I'd volunteer my time rather than waiting in the spinning loop forever.

The whole TC experience over a longer timespan is either waiting 5-15 seconds for a result, or a http error, something about "not allowed to access this resource", the latter happens in like 10 percent.
Sending this comment took 15 seconds.

Little doubt that when Your Move Chess & Games were offered a decent sum of money to let this website go to new custodians they were happy to see it go.

I agree that it requires a lot of patience these days with the abysmal speed.
