Hi there,

1. Lizard 10.1 NN
Liam McGuire, USA
https://github.com/liamt19/Lizard

2. Minic 3.40 NN
Vivien CLAUZON, FRA
https://github.com/tryingsomestuff/Minic

Note:
In tournament selection I add the test-results for new engine-releases (if stronger as around 3150 Elo if Wasp 6.50 NN is playing with 3300 Elo).
The test for Lizard 10.1 NN is ready!

:-)

I am so crazy, please keep the information secret and not give it to the others.

Hi Krisztián,

thanks for your engine!
I added the first results in tournament selection.

Can be 3260 Elo (if I compare with the reference for my test ... Wasp 6.5.0 NN = 3300 Elo).
That's indeed very strong!

Best
Frank

PS: Nothing what important, testing with 4+2 (4.4 Ghz Intel) / 6+3 (3.0 Ghz Intel) only.
If ready (I think in the late evening) you can find the results in Replay-Zone from my 66+6 tourney or in tournament selection from TalkChess.

To Obsidian 10.0 NN:
Games with resign = off

Engine support syzygy first time, but it seems not tested in detail!

- does not give mate with KR vs. K ... games ended with draw, 50 moves-rule
- does not give mate with KNB vs. K ... games ended with draw, 50 moves-rule
- does not give mate with KQ vs. K ... games ended with draw, 50-moves-rule
- does not give mate with KQ vs. KR ... games ended with draw, 50-moves-rule

- engine avoid draw in clear draw position ... games ended with 50-moves rule (very high move-average)

Hello everyone.

I announced the release of v1.0 and v1.1 of my engine, Tcheran, on the CCRL forums while waiting for my TalkChess account to be approved.

https://github.com/jgilchrist/tcheran

v1.0 was rated 1981 on CCRL Blitz (now 1879 after the rating recalibration) and although v1.1 hasn't been tested yet, it was a modest ~14-18 Elo improvement in self-play (due to a large set of movegen optimisations).

The current version is also running on Lichess at https://lichess.org/@/jpg-bot and is currently rated ~2200 in both Bullet and Rapid.

Yesterday I released v2.0, which added a set of standard search pruning techniques and results in the following Elo gains in self-play:

Code: Select all

ELO | 244.1 +/- 11.4
CONF | 8+0.08 Threads=1 Hash=128MB
GAMES | N: 4096 W: 2942 L: 460 D: 694

Code: Select all

ELO | 275.5 +/- 24.3
CONF | 40+0.4 Threads=1 Hash=128MB
GAMES | N: 1024 W: 772 L: 96 D: 156

Hi Peter,

I am looking in all of the games I have for you ... around 800!
I found a bug in 56 games.

If you like you can download the file (*.cbh database).
The *.pgn database is later available.

Please note:
A bug produced in a game must not be comprehensible with edit a position, you do!

But not important ... 28 points only ... 30 Elo only.
Without the bug the final result is better as from RubiChess with the time-control 4+2.

Some more bugs I found but I am not the beta tester.
Programmer can look in the games.
Do that so many years and a short hint should be enough.

Again and again ... I hope the programmers use for test-games "resign=off".

Have a nice weekend!

Best
