Now, it is not only the smallest version ever with 1291 lines of code, it is also the strongest so far.
The engine is still not using any external library, nor precomputed data like EGTB, Texel-Tuning or NNUE.
Additionally there have been quite a number of changes in protocol handling because of some smaller issues when playing on lichess.org.
Sourcen and exectuable have been pushed to GitHub. Here is how much the engine has developed since the last long druing version 5.10.5:

Code: Select all

   # PLAYER : RATING ERROR POINTS PLAYED (%) W D L D(%) CFS(%)
   1 OliThink 5.11.9 : 77 ---- 30413.5 50000 60.8 22108 16611 11281 33.2 ---
   2 OliThink 5.10.5 : 0 3 19586.5 50000 39.2 11281 16611 22108 33.2 100

White advantage = 24.13 +/- 1.33
Draw rate (equal opponents) = 34.59 % +/- 0.20

REBEL-EXTREME 1.1 is our new STYLE engine where the focus is on playing style and ELO has a less priority. Nevertheless the engine has an estimated CEGT rating of 3350 elo.
Hi. I am comparing the previous version to the current 1.1, executables have the same file size- 138,717 KB.

All fine. The engine-container is the same, only the net differs. So, the binary-length of the engine is not affected, until the net-structure stays unchanged.

Alexandria 8.1.0 has a bug. After 3 games on Playchess server, I got a message, '' Engine caused exception'' and resigned a game when still in book. Perhaps an author can take a look and see what is wrong with it.
