I have the source code for OpenTal 1.0 & 1.1 but can only find Windows executables for v1.2, is there any source code anywhere?

Thanks,

Al.
What is the difference between version 1.2 and the others?

Hi Rowen,

I really don’t know, hence wanting the source code to compile it on my Raspberry Pi.

However I have Windows binaries so I can use then as a Windows Remote Engine on my DGT Pi.

Hi
I seem to remember concluding that the 1.2 versions were versions of the originals that were said to be able to work in a fritx gui? I still wasnt able to do so, but didnt matter as I was able to use a workaround to get the originals to work in a fritz gui, I then realised that I could simply get the openTal personality from GitHub and import them into the Rodent engine.

Rodent is excellent with all its options. as enjoyable opponents can be fashioned, then there is chessmaster, pro deo etc...

The only download link for OpenTal 1.2 that I see is from the Chess Engines Diary. It appears to be an illegitimate GPL licence breaking closed source fork of Pawel Koziol's work, since there is nothing on Pawel's site about a 1.2 version.
