I have decided to release my engine which has been a little hobby of mine for the past few years. I know that a few of you are interested in amateur engines and I hope that this engine is welcomed contribution.

I changed - a bit - my mind. They are some endgames (for example KQPKQP) in which NirvanaChess is good.
Well, after 73 games NC is the first. The second place (Chispa 4.0.3) is a well-known chess engine - 2199 ELO in CCRL (4/40) - an expert level one ! It has access to 5 men Nalimov TBs.
My predictions for this version of NirvanaChess are around 2220-2250 ELO CCRL (4/40).

Have a nice weekend !

Wow. I would have expected the engine to have no chance at all against an engine with endgame table base support.

I am an undergraduate from the United States.

Watching the games versus Vajolet made me notice how poorly the engine plays against passed pawns. Vajolet managed to obtain two passed pawns in the 4th game but Nirvana thought that everything was going well. Houdini believed Vajolet had the game in the bag.
