What's new:
1. Added some code to help ZZZZZZ when winning
to avoid 3-fold-rep draws.
2. Evaluation/search changes/adjustments.
3. Removed more redundant code from the source.

A little stronger in my tests.

Also I'd like to replace Freyr with Small Potato in my selection.

Jim.
Ok thanks, I will download it and replace the older one.
Sorry Swami another update. ZZZZZZ v3.4.4.
I left something out of v3.4.3 by mistake which seriously weakened it.
This is definitely the last update, at least for a while. I'm moving on to other projects now.

Jim.
Jim,

There's something wrong with the download file of latest Zzzzzz version. Can you look into it? I can't download it.

Both working for me. Try again, might be just a busy server. If you're still having trouble I'll post some fresh links here.

Just a tip for running ZZZZZZ. I noticed it plays better without an opening book. Using a book it's seem to get into positions it doesn't quite understand and loses quickly.

Hi Tony,

After I took a quick look on your rating list:

I would say top three will be among your designate
picks plus Smallpotato, Etude, Ax, ColChess, Obender,
Smash and Freyr.

Best,
hi, merhaba, hallo HT

Harun, I have an updated list. After I posted the last one I noticed that I had made some offset errors. The offset on the first one was lower.. Here is an updated/edited list..If any engine that's not on this list manages to win this division, I might have to find myself another hobby. By the way, can someone send me Etude, my email address is apocalypse1112 at aol.com. Replace at with @.

Code: Select all

Clueless 2034
Warrior 1941
JARS_173 (1959)
Feuerstein0452 2151
Smash-nosmp 2028
Freyr (1999)
TJchess096R (1890)
Smallpotato 1990
Grizzly1401b xxxx
SamChess 1867
Ranita_24 2011
Heracles xxxx
FAUCE xxxx
Etude xxxx
Elephant xxxx
Soldat 0.25b1 xxxx
BikJump 1.6 xxxx
Robin xxxx
ColChess 7 1997
Morphy_322 xxxx
Cecir 3.5 xxxx
Ax xxxx
max4_8w 1937
I decided to go with everyone elses picks, so I cant really lose that badly. Feuerstein0452 , Clueless, Smash...Obender got a time management incompatibility and I expect it to lose many games on time. I am still pondeing about Tjchess's bad performance on my rating list and relatively much better performance in other chess variants..
