something interresting about Scorpio... In my tests the better Scorpio version is 1.9 -- about 180 ELO points stronger than last 2.0 version.

It is possible that you have messed up parameters. One time I had the number 2 in front of the thread option and it played about 200 points weaker here as well until I fixed the configuration. Here Scorpio 2.0 is indeed the best version, though it is showing only a measly 24 point improvement over the previous best version Scorpio 1.84.
