Andscacs only #5 in TCEC (at this moment). What happened ?

Andscacs finished 6th in stage 2, so it's a little improvement.

Andscacs now #7. Big difference between first four or three and last four. Houdini is back.

improvement of Andscacs has been extraordinary.
When Daniel polish some details, will be more up.
How I have read in the chat their efforts of tests are many, makes lack many good computers to try all the ideas.
It is difficult.

The TCEC tournament shows the following rapid risers:
Houdini
Andscacs
Jonny

Not to mention:
Fire has had a big boost in stability. The older version would crash at the drop of a hat.

Of course SF and K will also have made big improvements, but that happens every year, so we are not surprised.

If Houdini has a tactical mode like the previous versions, it will be on my must buy list.

Andscacs and Jonny are both very impressive in their new incarnations.
Engines to watch out for in the coming years.

Amazing Stockfish up to now has not lost a single game in this stage. Almost like Capablanca (the chess machine).
