Please put an option for your engine to stay under 2000 Elo.
There is no fun for a human to play and being crushed by those fucking super strong chess programs.

This version has bugfixes for sudden death games and fixed time per move games.

This latest version has support for fixed depth searches.
In Xboard or Winboard you can start with extra parameters: -depth <x>
In Arena you can use Mode: Fixed search depth.

-It doesn't work very well for very low depths though, since the engine searches at least 16000 nodes.
-It doesn't affect extensions, so you will still see PV's that are a bit larger.
-It doesn't limit pondering, so pondering must be set off.
