Thanks Evert and Jim. I tested the ARM binary of Jazz in Chess for Android against an earlier release with a quick one-second-per-move tournament on a Nexus S, setting the hash size to 32MB and using the Silver Opening Suite. Results below.

Interesting. I see a stronger superiority for 501 over 444 here (about 60-40), but that is with many more games and at different time controls.
