And got "tablebases test ---> PASSED".

Does that mean all 4 B tbs ok?

If you're familiar with the command line just run the tbcheck from the gaviota directory. By default it checks the gtb directory there.

Believe so :) 3-4 are relatively small. Curious how long it takes you to do the 5men. I'm running it on an old machine with very small resources and it's taken 2 weeks as of today. 1.3ghz, 1gig ram 1 core.

Suspect it'll take a lot less on a more modern system especially with multiple cores.

So far 104 files created overnight. Size is now 15+ GB and counting :)

What are the end targets of them: 300 files and 40 GB?

Just done it. All files are ok. 41 files are absent.
I see: Number of files : around 145 (half of 290).
I'll use four cores tonight. Hope that having the
full set tomorrow morning.

Best,
Things are slowing down. Only 6 files have been produced.
Generation times per file are getting longer.

It will take more time than I thought for the last 35 files.

Finally! All 140 files have been generated. Plus 5 files,
we have 145 files in gtb folder. The complete size of the
directory is 38,4 GB (41.301.475.840 bytes) Just checked
with tbtest. All 200+ positions were correctly solved.
Tbtest 5 PASSED.

Congrats, I just finished as well and have the same stats.

Going to bzip2 -9 the files and upload to my site. Then once the official compressor is out I can convert them on the server.
