It doesn't run in my system : Windows 7 64 bit installed on VirtualBox 5.1 for Linux . Windows 7 64bit doesn't support 16 bit apps.

Curious : it does run very well with Wine under Linux 64bit. Linux supports better 16bit Windows apps than Microsoft ?? :P

You can probably run Ziggurat on Windows 3.1 within DOSBox within Windows 7 64 bit within VirtualBox 5.1 within Linux. Of course, it would have more layers than an onion, and is just as likely to make you cry as that onion.

Hi,

I am using W7 64bits unable to run 16bits Dos programs.

I confirm Ziggurat (1992 version) runs fine with DosBox + Win3.1
Setting up Windows 3.1 to run with DosBox is easy. You should be able to find necessary stuff here: http://www.win3x.org/win3board/

Another option is indeed to install an Oracle VirtualBox machine. It may be a solution for programs requiring to be installed with a version-sensitive installer. I managed to install a Win98SE, this is a bit tricky - particularly to get an acceptable screen definition, you need to find specific drivers. All stuff downloadable from the net but be aware it will be time consuming...
