New Orion release : v0.3 !

Post by David Carteau »

I'm pleased to release a new version of my little UCI engine Orion !

This new version had only one goal : put some order in the source code and obtain a clean compile ! I have however decided to experiment some pruning techniques to see if it could increase playing strengh. My own tests give me hope a gain of few elo only.

Writing a chess engine is really stimulating : I'm really impatient to see how the new version will perform in tournaments !
