Hello,

How long does it take for your engine to find Nb4 ?

2 minutes on my 8-core box. Takes that long for Nxa3 to fail low. Nb4 is always high up the list but Nxa3 has to fail first...

After 43. Nb4, it´s 43 ... Rb2 a draw?

Hiarcs 11.2 takes just 3 seconds to find the move..

Gaviota sees it immediately (0.1 seconds, ply 4) and it does changes its mind at least for 10 min. I do not think there is anything special about this move

It looks like Nb4 is obviously the only move, and not too difficult, it could make a good test position for the Knight Centralization/Repositioning test suite that I'm working on together with Dann. When I get back home, I'd have to see if this particular one can qualify as a challenging test position for engines rated <2800. :)

Right,

Junior needed to win the game though, so draw wasn't an option.
A draw would've been the same thing like 1-0.

Russian chess school understands that very well.
