No that's not true. Thats just the strange date giving to the zip file. LC0 did not even exist in 2018-01-01 ;-)
It is a T75 net from 2021-08-19.

Indeed :D

I will play 2 sanity matches.

Lc0-v28 for the GRL won with 102 - 98 against Komodo-Dragon 2

Match-1 : Lc0 T40-1541 vs Komodo-Dragon 2
Match-2 : Lc0 default net vs Komodo-Dragon 2

Will show some light on the issue, also for me.

Matches running here - http://rebel13.nl/a/grl.htm

I thought I responded to this thread, but maybe I did not it seems:

Leela stuff is confusing. If you were to hop into the discord and ask for the best network, you would get multiple answers under multiple conditions under multiple configurations. You really can't fault CCRL for not doing a deep dive to figure that out. Likewise, no one on OpenBench expects CCRL to snoop around the discord and download the latest networks.

Default net

Code: Select all

No. Name Win Draw Loss Unf. Score Games %
------------------------------------------------------------
  1 Komodo-Dragon 2 +53 =121 -26 *0 113.5 200 56.8%
  2 Lc0 v28-752187 +26 =121 -53 *0 86.5 200 43.2%
Not great either.

I have an excellent name for your engine, it should be called AGOCE = AndrewGrant's Own Chess Engine
