Hi there,

the weakest engine in the group of 41 engines is Vajolet2 2.8 (FCP Tourney-2021).

I am not sure with ...

1. Bit-Genie 9
2. Drofa 3.2.0
3. Counter 3.9
4. Invictus r382

in playing strength.
Maybe this engines are stronger as Vajolet2 2.8 (3012 Elo) or Nirvanachess 2.5 (3027 Elo).

I will add ...

5. Wasp 4.50
6. Vajolet2 2.8
7. Stash 31.0
8. Demolito 2021-07-09

for a test-tourney on Intel i9-10900k, 4.4Ghz with 40 moves in 14 minutes, 768Mb hash, 5-pieces
(same condition I will use for FCP Tourney-2022).

Link will be follow later this day!

Hi there,

I add two engines more ...

09. Critter 1.6a
10. chess22k 1.14 Java

Now, a nice group of engines can play a test-tourney!
I am very interesting in Drofa, Bit-Genie, Counter and Invictus results.

Each one against each other, 50 games per match = 2.250 tournament games, 450 games per engines to play.
40 moves in 14 minutes, 768Mb for hash, 5-pieces tablebases if possible, FCP Toruney-2022 rules.
10 games are still running on 10 cores from Intel i9-10900k with 4.4Ghz.
Need some days, I think ~ 14 days (around 50 minutes for one game).

Links, LIVE mode with FCP client software Fling Plus (updates each 30 minutes):

Have fun!

Wow ... Stash!!

What for a really strong engine (without NN) with a great style of chess.
Can be a little event for the next FCP Tourney-2022.

Bit-Genie seems on the way to the group of TOP-40.
Invictus lost two games on time (in endgames, both games with 5-pieces on board).

But after all ... I think no of the four engines is so far stronger as Vajolet2 2.8.

First impressions after 20 hours runtime!

Short impressions:

- too much short draw games by Wasp, same for FCP Tourney-2021. I believe I should set a small contempt like 8. I know John dislike the contempt but as tester I should try this for avoid to many of such short draws.

- too much short lost games by Drofa

- 3 of 82 games lost on time by Invictus

- 1 of 82 game lost on time by chess22k (I know about it from FCP Tourney-2021, 7 after 2.000 games).

- I am very surprised from Demolito and found interesting short won games ... extraordinary for Demolito!!
Aggressiveness in mid-games and a again a hard fighting for each endgame (I like Demolito all the time, small sources with a lot of power). A very hard opponent for Wasp with weeknesses in endgames.

- Stash have very strong endgame and good king safety. It seems that this program have an good optimization in parameters (balanced style without big weeknesses).

With Counter I am not sure!
Weeknesses seems to be the late mid-game. Endgame strength seems to be good. Engine runs without any problems.

After all ... the four engines:
Counter, Bit-Genie, Drofa & Invictus seems to be over 2900 Elo but are not strong enough for FCP Tourney-2022 (Engine strength should be over 3000 Elo for a place in TOP-40).

Very sure with the new Demolito and Stash (engines should have around 3020 - 3060 Elo).

A lot of games are to play ...
Let us wait of the final results, first impressions by myself only!

Hi there,

I am not sure with TOP-38 - TOP-41 places for my next FCP Tourney-2022.
At the moment not many time for chess but I can use the time for test different engines again.

I added Combusken 1.4.0 AMD x64 in my test tourney (Engine-12).

The three links to my test-tourney can be found in my thread.
Stats to the test-tourney will be later available.

Invictus lost 21 games on time
chess22k lost 1 game on time
With Fritz 16 I solved the problems with lost on time games (I had before in times I starts a test tourney for FCP Tourney-2021).
With 5-pieces Nalimov Fritz 16 lost often on time. With the settings (Shredder *.eng file):
[ENGINE]
Name=Fritz 16 (Rybka) x64
Author=Vasik Rajlich
Filename=C:\Chess\Shredder_12\Engines\Rybka\Fritz 16.exe
[OPTIONS]
Use TBAccess=true
Main Process Priority=Normal
Child Process Priority=Normal
Fritz 16 produced 0 lost on time games!!

Hi there,

Combusken 1.4.0 AMD x64 is running now on 26 Cores.
I added a new Ryzen9 5950x with 16 Cores in my network.

I will test a little bit the network.
With 26 Cores ~ 560 games per day (40 moves in 14 minutes, around 1 hour per game without resign mode) can be play.

Tomorrow I will add Engine 13 and Engine 14 in my test-tourney.

Engine 13: Cheng 4.41 x64
Engine 14: Equinox 3.30 x64

Links to the test-tourney can be found in this thread.

I third system (Intel i5 11600k) I will add before tournament start (Nov. 08th, 2021) in my network.
So I have 6 cores more for FCP Tourney-2022.

1. Intel i9-10900k = 10 Cores
2. AMD Ryzen9 5950x = 16 Cores
3. Intel i5-11600k = 6 Cores

= 32 Cores power for the next FCP Tourneys!
All cores will be run with 4.4Ghz!

Hi there,

Hardware details for AMD-System Ryzen9 5950x:
Temperature: 64 degrees with Kraken Z73 water-cooling system ...
if 16 matches are still running with 4.4Ghz on Asus Rock Crosshair VIII Dark Hero Mainboard.

Standard setting for the Mainboard!
I changed V-Core from 1.200 to 1.250 and 4.4Ghz core ratio only.
Max. possible is 4.8Ghz per core with 1.300 V-Core but the system need to many energy.
