ZaTour - Season 2 - ZuFi

The super league finished a few days ago, and now both Zahak and Nalwald are meeting for the title of ZaTour of this season.
The match is going to be a 100 game match, played at the time control of 2hours+30 seconds increment. The engines get 1024 MB of Hash.

Unfortunately, due to my mistake, I was playing with Nalwald 1.9, instead of 1.12... I had to restart the match with the correct binary for Nalwald

Nalwald 1.12 many times gets into an advantage in the middlegame, but with a fierce defence by Zahak the game ends in a draw.. on the other hand, Zahak has won two equal endgames thanks to Nalwald's inaccurate endgame play... The match is interesting and the styles of the two engines couldn't be any different... I still have no idea who is going to win the match, they are that close in strength

Another 10 games are played, Zahak leads by two points... the story is the same, Nalwald gets into middle-game advanatage, and cannot convert them, Zahak's wins mostly come from better endgame play

One third of the match has passed, Zahak is leading by 4 points! The engines seem to be really close in strength, but I feel Zahak is slightly better at converting slight advantages.

Another teng games have passes, we have played 40/100 games of this classical match! Nalwald and Zahak changed their hats, and Nalwald started to convert many games, while Zahak struggled...

Zahak still leads, but the margin is shrunken now, 20.5-19.5 for Zahak! But this match is very promising and action is still around, stay tuned!
