Forum partly hidden?
Are the 'other forums' sections now all hidden, or is this just me?

For me everything is back to normal as well, now. Very strange.

The Talkchess provider did some repair maintenance.
90% of coding is debugging, the other 10% is writing bugs.

OK, that could have been the reason. But it was really strange. I was logged in, saw all CCC forums (including Engine Origins), and the link to the Admin Control Panel. But not the other forums, and no link to the Moderator Control Panel (on the main page). When I opened the ACP, all forums were still there, and the permissions on them seemed unaltered. So it was very inconsistent. But after some time everything went back to normal.
