St. Louis Rapid & Blitz

Post by AdminX »

Has anyone been following the St. Louis Rapid & Blitz? It is being hosted on the KasparovChess website and also shown on Youtube via the Saint Louis Club.

Nakamura has shown some pretty amazing blitz skills when under pressure. Two games that stand out in my mind are his play with the black pieces versus Mamedyarov and Le. According the GM Ashley Computer Engines also agreed with the moves Naka was blitzing out in his game with Mamedyarov.

Yes it was, I've heard of GM Rapport before but I think this was the 1st time I really paid close attention to his games. He has a very interesting approach to the game.
