Wow, a great thank to both of you for spotting and trying to reproduce this strange behavior. I don't have time right now to investigate (lunch time), but I will for sure. More generally, except that case and a probable weakness in endgames (due to the Syzygy removing and probably to the training data which were unbalanced in number of middle/endgame positions), I hope these first (very good) results will be confimed !

Thanks for your interest ! I (temporarily) disabled Syzygy support as I was curious to see how the sole neural network would perform without endgame "assistance".
