Ginkgo 2.18 64-bit was just above the latest Andscacs, but the latest Ginkgo version is likely to be stronger than that.
thanks Graham :)

Re: Fritz 17

Also, it could be worth noting that Ginkgo had been listed on CCRl 40/40 as a private engine, but then it was pulled from the list just around the same time as the Fritz 17 discussion first sprang up. :) I don't know why that was, I wouldn't read anything into it. Graham asked for it to be removed ...

There is a new Fritz 17 engine, a conventional AB engine that has no relation to Rybka or Vasik Rajlich, so no idea why his name is dragged into this at all.
Because on this page (https://www.niggemann.com/en/fritz-17-deutsch.html) - Details - it says he is the author of Fritz 17.

Fritz 17 would be Rybka 7. Or Rybka 4.4, for that matter.
Wrong, but I won't say more.
since it seems confirmed in that page the Rjalich is the programmer I wonder what Graham's comment means. Maybe it's not Rybka but a new engine?

I know this is going to invite a storm, but how is this ethical? Are the Lc0 people happy with this?
The price seems the same as always so you could say you are paying for Fritz 17 and getting FatFritz for free I guess
