How about you take this idea, and add it to an existing engine, to demonstrate that 1. It works, and 2. Its not terrible
Sure, I can do it tomorrow.

Re: Gentelmen, check your engines.

I have another 5-move mate puzzle which some powerful engines fail to find the minimum mate. 3R1R2/K3k3/1p1nPb2/pN2P2N/nP1ppp2/4P3/6P1/4Qq1r w 0 1 Demolito: 8 threads, 1GB Hash info depth 15 score mate 10 time 125 nodes 1090872 hashfull 5 pv e5f6 e7e6 d8d6 e6f5 d6d5 f5g6 h5f4 f1f4 e1h1 f4f5 f8g8 g6...

Re: Fat Titz 1.1 released!

Fat Titz has won in the Mark Young's tournament! https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/735707599353151579/882673521665376256/cefbf3ab01f36707.PNG According to your testing, is there really a measurable elo gain from the larger network ? Couldn't this slight elo difference to regularSF (assuming co...

Re: Fat Titz 1.1 released!

Thank you Sopel. Nice! In the other thread I only wrote serious postings and only topics related to chess. The thread was closed for no reason. Can't the moderator at least write why he is closing the thread? I feel discriminated against, I don't know what I did wrong. Indeed. It’s not like this is...

Re: Fat Titz 1.1 released!

Thanks to Norman Schidt and Albert Sliver for inspiration on creating my own fork of Stockfish. Also big thanks to Robert Houdart for great optimization ideas, overall making the engine almost 20% faster! I like the (sarcastic) credit to Robert Houdart  https://github.com/Sopel97/FatTitz/commi...

Re: cutechess cli - resume tournament?

Is it possible to get cutechess cli to resume a tournament that was unfortunately aborted due to a power outage? I've read the documentation but can't see any option to do this :( I think technically it would be possible by scanning the tourney .pgn file. Could this be added if it can't already do ...

Re: c-chess-cli release

Works excellent on Android so far. I encountered only one problem, when epd opening files were saved on windows (CR + LF), c-chess-cli reports illegal fens, but when saved as unix format (LF only) it works. Thanks. Should be fixed now: https://github.com/lucasart/c-chess-cli/commit/854a6ad1b04ede80...

Re: Where is Father famous anti computer chess player

Anyone paying attention knows that the guy got tired of this place. He'd post some flowery title like... "GRANDFATHER AGAINST 64 CORE MONSTER OF DOOM DEFENDS HUMANKIND!" ...then embed a stonewall setup where he shuffled for 300 moves and flagged someone on PlayChess... ...to the instant flaming of ...

Re: PV in PGN comments

The recommended way to include PVs in PGN is as recursive variations. PGN viewers that support interpretation of recursive variations can then be used to walk through the PVs. If you hide the PV inside a comment, PGN viewers would ignore them. Thanks. But I don't think that's intended for PV. Rathe...
