Djinn was written from scratch, (I think I started it in 1996). The only exceptions are the code used to access the Nalimov tablebases and a KPK endgame routine that Dieter Buerssner, of YACE fame, posted on CCC and generously gave me permission to use, so perhaps that disqualifies it I don't know.
I'm glad you posted this because I realized that I hadn't publicly acknowledged Dieter's generous contribution so I added him to the "Acknowledgments" section on my webpage. Frankly, I wish Dieter would come back and update YACE, it's a great engine that would probably be near the top if he added all the modern search enhancements.

_No one can hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you can hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward….

+1000!!!
Dieter was one of the best contributors to the fora and YACE was a jewel. For a short period it was the strongest free engine, and super rock stable, with some features that not many had. In addition, Dieter was a really nice guy.
My chess program is written from scratch. But I have not published it and it has a clumsy user interface of it own. It also doesn't know fifty move rule.
It is still under development when I have enough time and energy too waste.
You can add the following engines (from memory):
Dirty, EveAnn, Myrddin, FireFly, iCE, DiscoCheck, ExChess, Tornado, Frenzee, Glass, Arminius (used to be Hermann), cheng and of course GreKo
