It is really about lack of permission. It is about taking the law into ones own hands. I am sure you can agree that those who would receive no support. Arena is not GPL. You cannot just put it somewhere without permission, The fact that most of these indiscretions happen in the eastern block says more about their mentality than anyone else's. Arena is free, just like Winboard. Arena is not free to host anywhere without permission.

Please don't.Peter Skinner wrote:So this is the forum to broadcast that Mikey is over compensating for a small penis by withholding updates/new versions from your "customers" because one site felt they didn't need to cite an article correctly or is hosting a file illegally?Christopher Conkie wrote: It's computer chess. Let me get every commercial product programmer who's property has been pirated to come and have their own fit on the CCC, because, after all, _this_ is the place to be having these type conversations.
This isn't computer chess related, it is Arena related. This conversation should be taking place between that team and the infringing party. Not on the CCC where 99% of the time the we don't understand for a freaking second what has Mikey's panties in a knot.

Alright enough. We get it, you are pissed about your article not being cited correctly and that an Arena package is available without your consent.Michael Diosi wrote:Hi,

So why not head back to your site where the world never darkens, and everything is respected?
If you're just looking to troll some more, I have a bridge with just enough space for you to fit under.

I was kicked out of Chapters because I moved all the Bibles to the fiction section.
