Don no longer suffers, the pain is for the living.

Don surely has built a good name from God's point of view.

Donald (Don) R. Dailey, 57, of Roanoke, VA fell asleep in death Friday, November 22, 2013 after losing his 3+ yr. battle with MDS/AML. Don was born in Kalamazoo, MI and leaves behind his beloved wife, Mary; father and mother, Frank & Jean Dailey all of Roanoke; brother and wife, Roger & Daisy Dailey; niece and husband, Ashley & Lucas Menna all of Miami; in-laws & many friends from MA as well as his many uncles, aunts, and cousins from MI. Don gladly served as a publisher of the “good news of God’s Kingdom” (Matt. 24:14) and as an elder with the Roanoke, NE Cong. of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He will be missed by all of his spiritual brothers & sisters from the Roanoke area and beyond. Don has been referred to as “the father of computer chess” and was co-creator of the world famous Komodo chess program. His family and friends look forward to the fulfillment of Jehovah's comforting promises stated at John 5:28,29 and Rev. 21:3,4. A memorial service on behalf of the family will be held on Saturday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 3359 Colonial Ave., SW, Roanoke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society, Attn: Treasurer’s Office, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, NY 11201-2483 in support of their world wide preaching work.

Sad to hear of someone taken in his best years. Sincere
