The start position I chose leads to a really messy game, I think.
Bishops seem to be on bad squares also, but maybe this is good because it reveals the uniqueness of Chess960.

3 votes for f5. I'm going to make an executive decision and close the vote early and accept as the forum move. At the moment voting is sparse and it will move the game along. If we even get another 3 votes it would be a miracle, let alone 3 all for another move. Weekend seems always to be light in the voting, people are busy. Let's hope the voting picks up a bit as we go along.

A reasonable decision Ray
Most moves in the first Forum game garnered only 3 votes but view totals were high as they are for this game

Closing the vote early could of course discourage people to join, it is therefore something I wouldn't want to do that often. Tomorrow is a new week, we'll wait the full 24 hrs for each move then and see if interest picks up

Matthias.
Should be interesting game with a lot of trading early on.
White is in a little better position so far. Hope Black can
move ahead before Steve's machine takes over.
I guess after both Kings have made their first move even
if they don't castle Steve's machine takes over for white.

Best.

Gerold.
