I said decent chess engines (like mine), not yours...
A lot of chess engines crash when fed certain illegal positions and/or illegal FEN strings. Like Houdini 1.5, for instance.

I'm afraid your nasty comments to people here aren't going to win you many supporters.

You won't convince "that chess site" to take Arena and/or the interviews down. A site that puts up pirated commercial software and pirated e-books isn't going to lend an ear to any complaints about hosting a freeware program or somebody else's interviews. You're either going to have to be the bigger man, ignore it, and go on about your business.... or do what you're doing now, which makes you look immature.
This production is being brought to you by Rybka: "The engine made from scratch.™"

I thought everyone liked long long threads about utter nonsense in here?

What's wrong? Is it childish because the "adult" you is not interested?

I'd shut up if I were you (but I'm not).
Had you followed the long threads you would understand what is wrong. Zillions of whining and xenophobic posts. I was not going to answer that, but it seems you have posted without even knowing what was going on.

You're most likely not getting any new ones after this mess, either.

I have posted without knowing what was going on? I think you should go back and revise your carpet munching technique because you obviously have no idea who I am. It is exactly this kind of ignorance with attention to no detail that makes you unable to spot what is and is not xenophobia when you think you see it.

Arena is not GPL. You cannot just put it somewhere without permission, The fact that most of these indiscretions happen in the eastern block says more about their mentality than anyone else's. Arena is free, just like Winboard. Arena is not free to host anywhere without permission.
I still don't see what any of that has to do with Red Queen...
The thread is about illegal Arena hosting. You are right. What does it have to do with Red Queen or its author?

I hope you do realize just how childish the above statement is right?

Imagine if all software developers stopped releasing updates or new versions due to piracy or someone not properly citing an article. We'd still being using Windows 3.1..

Do what you will.. but you certainly aren't gaining any support or friends with this tirade.

Why are you even posting this here, when there issue is -->>> there? This is like me complaining I can't get something to work right with Nitro PDF on the Adobe PDF forums.

Freaking Germans... all they do is complain. (Since Mikey here can lump everyone on another forum as "Russians" who condone piracy, I think I can lump all Germans into one category as well with his whining).

Peter
I was kicked out of Chapters because I moved all the Bibles to the fiction section.

It's computer chess. Arena is a computer chess GUI. This is the Computer Chess Club Peter.
