The best continuation it sees in memory is:

Your MDC Opponent was:
MEPHISTO BERLIN PRO 68020
The Mephisto Berlin Pro was manufactured by the company Hegener & Glaser. Hegener & Glaser marketed all their chess computers under the Brand Name "Mephisto"
The Berlin Pro came out in 1994 and is a Sensory Board version of the Mephisto Genius Chess Module, The program was written by Richard Lang and is the 1993 World Championship Program Genius 2.0.
BP has a 68020 32 Bit Processor running at 24 MHz with 256 KB ROM and 1024 KB ROM.
It has an Opening Book of 180,000 half moves.
It scores ELO 2255 in the BT-2630 tests. It has a rating of @ ELO 2280 in matches of 30 seconds per move against other Dedicateds and @ ELO 2254 for 40/2hr matches.
At these long time setting used for these Forum Games, I would guess that it plays at @ ELO 2300.
Unfortunately, the position and you (humans) were too strong for it in this match. I tend think that the major mistake made by Black was to take the a-pawn. The focus should have been on getting Black's Queen and other pieces in a position to defend the forthcoming attack on Black's King
Anyway, I enjoyed the game a lot, and perhaps we can do this again sometime. Next time your MDC opponent will be a lot tougher

REVENGE !! regards
