I thought f6 was the best, but there are some little nuances in the lines I thought yesterday. In some of them, at one point after a hypothetical Kg2 (with the idea of Rh1) there are some annoying Rb2+. For that reason, the move I vote is Rb1. That forces Bb4 and now we can do whatever we wanted, but those tactical details are gone. Besides, The rook that was inactive (Rd1) now can participate with an eventual Rb2 --> Rh2 leaving the Rf1 in the f column playing its role.
34. Rb1 Bb4 35. f6 gxf6 36. Qh3 Kg6 37. Qf5+ Kh6 38. Rb2 Ne7 39. Rh2 Nxf5 40 exf5 and mate in the next couple of moves
if after Rb1 black do not cover with Bb4, it loses very quickly and easily.
34. Rb1 Qxb1 35. Nxf8+ winning
34. Rb1 Qa6 (or c6) 35. Rxb8 Rxb8 and f7 is not defended, so Nxg5+ --> Nf7+ and mate in g7
34. Rb1 Qc8 35. Rxb8 Qxb8 36. Qxg5 and black cannot defend g7 w/o losing the whole rook in f8 (Qb7 Nxf8+)
34 Rb1 Qd7 35. f6!! Nxf6 36. Nxf6+ and Nxg5+ winning the Queen in d7
34 Rb1 Qe7 35. Nxg5+ and after Nf4 --> Ng6 the whole position falls apart.
Rb1

My vote for Rb1 (althought IMO the check after Kg2 only delays the unaviodable)
Yes, I agree, but we have to be careful. I will give an example of what I mean: 34. f6 Nxf6 35. Nxf6 Rxf6 36. Rxf6 gxf6 37 Qh5+ Kg8 38 Qg6+ Kh8 39 Kg2 40. Qh7 Rh1? 41 Rb2+ Kg3 42 Be1+ Kg4 43 Rg2+ and draw.
Of course we can deviate and not play Rh1 but we need to be aware of all these alternatives. For instance we can still win if we play 40 ... Qxf6+ Kg8 41 Rb1!! (Rxb1 Qf8# of course) and Rh1 next.
All of these nuisances will evaporate with Rb1 first.

There is a lot of winning moves: Qxg6, Qh3, Nxg5+, Rf2, Rf3, f6, Rb1.
Rb1 and then f6 seems to be the most straight and simple.
