Re: it is absolutely sure !
Will Deep Fritz 14 compete in the next TCEC Season? Martin, what do you know about engines like Vitruvius, Rybka, Hiarcs and Shredder? Will there be new versions in the near future? Haven't seen a new Shredder for a long while, as well as Rybka and Vitruvius, the latter had an interesting playing style. Best regards!

Heh, I only updated the Fritz Wikipedia page based on the information I read here! (You should never use Wikipedia as "proof"; only the primary sources, which is the ChessBase announcement in this case.)
I am very happy that Pandix is now released to the public! Congratulations, Gyula! I hope he makes a ton of royalties for his decades of hard work on Pandix.

Sure, Fritz 11 is visibly stronger, but the great style of Fritz 10, a landmark program that defeated WC Kramnik in 2006, was completely gone. Fritz 10 was/is one of the few programs capable of playing well in closed positions.

I bought Deep Fritz 10 on DVD (got it yesterday)... and now I want to update the program for Deep "Fritz 10.1" is it possible?
The road to chaos is filled with political correctness.

Re: New Fritz author?
You need to find and download Service Pack 3 for DF10. It was called setupdeepfritz10sp3.exe and it used to be downloadable from Chessbase. It contained the update to DF10 v.10.1.A Distel wrote:carldaman wrote:Actually, I own both Fritz v10 and v11. They are different like day and night.Albert Silver wrote:He is joking.
