I vote cd also. We should not restart. We should be able to win
this as is. I believe this exercise will bring out some good issues.
Winning this game is not the point, but we will win.
[quote="Henrik DinesenI think we have a problem after Nxd4, Lb4 Sdb5. A problem that a6 prevents.[/quote]
Or Qb6. if a6 all our moves except Bb7 will have been pawn moves. if Nxd4 a6 we have a kan paulsen type of sicilian again without b pawn. so how could we take advantage or minimize this disadvantage of the missing b pawn?

We shouldn't have played c5?
As of now, I vote for Nf6. We need to complicate the position. After cxd4 Nxd4 Bb4 Nb5 I have trouble seeing what do we do next.

EXACTLY
i think this little exercise has already has brought out some good issues pertinent to correspondence play
the point of this practice game is to get some practice in working as a team , and also to become some what familiar with the mechanical aspects of voting for moves....time controls..etc etc..basically to get up to speed working as a team ...
better to learn the ropes against my dedicated computer then against the Hteam who are seasoned, well practiced and ruthless ..
you can be certain that when the game begins..only 10 days from today..they will take advantage of every little mistake showing no mercy at all
The whole idea of c5 (my fault?) would have been to now play pxp. But now I've been desperately trying to think of other possibilities.
(I would use rybka [but I don't have it] with advanced chess thinking, to see if there's something better [or if there's any great follow-up after this]).
