The queen serves no useful purpose on f4 and will not only get in the way, but possibly be subject to attack.
White may lose the a2 pawn. Qa6xa2.

I think White lost the pawn long ago.

Not really. Its still on the board. :)
If Q takes it after g4-g5. White plays Be2g4 more pressure on
black on the King side.

Best,

Or even better, Rb7 (after g4-g5 Qxa2).

I vote for g4-g5. I think that Qc1 is too passive and white won't have any compensation after the simple reply Qxa2 -+. I also think that the wQ is not really going to be subject of attack on the king side, so we should keep it there while opening on king side.

The difference between g5 Qxa2 Rb7 and Qc1 Qxa2 Rb7 is that in the latter case black can play Bc6, forcing the wR to return to b1, while in the former case Bc6? would enter a lost position by Rxf7. Therefore in the former case black must defend its bishop, leaving the initiative for white.

g5

After a better look at Qc1, Qxa2 and Black threatens Qd2 forcing queens to be traded. I do no like that.

switching to 23.g5

to avoid the queen exchange Miguel sees.

Maybe black does not even aim for exchanging queens after 23.Qc1 Qxa2, if the black position is about equal to the white but black is one pawn ahead. So my reason for proposing 23.g5 is different: we keep our active play alive with g5 while we tend to lose with Qc1.

Just my opinion.
