So far we have:

2 votes for h3
1 vote for f4
1 vote for Ng2

Roughly 11 hours left for us to decide.

Ray will be up in a few hours. I'll inform him that 17.h3 is our move.

Good move, it threats Ng8 followed by g6. I gotta think about it.

I prefer digging away Kingside so my preference is Qf4. If black does play g5 then at least g5 can be later pressured with h4 or f4.

Also if Knight does go Ng8 then we could look at the move Ng2 again. I think Ng2 or even Nf3 opens h-pawn for advancement.

hmmm actually Nf3 at that point might be even better because that frees up g2 or h2 for the king if either g or h opens up for the rooks.

So long as we keep the pressure on the Kingside, I don't think that Black will try to do too much in the way of counter attack on the Queenside.

thinking aloud again regards :)

Nick
3 more moves Nick and the MDC takes over
suffice it to say the " back up" MDC has been following the game and is highly pleased at how the game is going

0-1 Regards
