Yes, it was -5 when the engines saw Anand could sacrifice his tower against Carlsen's passed pawn, but then Carlsen only has to go chase Anand's pawns and either checkmate with his rook or promote his last pawn, so it's a clear black victory.

If Carlsen wins this one, it might be psychologically devastating for Anand, because he then will fear to enter endgames with Carlsen, and will also lose faith in his own endgame technics. Not mentioning the two points edge with 6 games remaining.

I thought Carlsen blundered, but I was the one blundering.

Anand just resigned !

The press conference was too awkward it was unreal. Anand couldn't wait to get out of there.

They really need to stop asking stupid questions to the loser just after the game.

I like Anand said "I don't know why you don't know English." to a journalist.

Agreed. Asking Carlsen's opponent how he'll cope with defeat, in presence of Carlsen was both stupid and inelegant.

I think Anand should go for more complicated lines. In the early games where he had the advantage, they were complex double-edge positions. Her and yesterday's game, Anand went for simpler ideas and got blown away in positions that Carlsen could do anything without any risk. Even Carlsen admitted that in the press conference.
