Gods are fragile things; they may be killed by a whiff of science or a dose of common sense.

In Tournament and matches Harun Taner is testing Ivanhoe 46.
He is getting about the same results. Most of the latest ones
are the same.
You can Google and fine them. Links for that other forum is not
allowed here.

I have tested at longer time control and get the same results.

I got Houdini + 20 over the strongest Ivanhoe with over 2000 games
played.

R4 and Ivanhoe are very close.

Best,
Gerold.
Hi Gerold,

I have tested around 60 IvanHoe versions or perhaps more.
IvanHoe 46 1cpu is the one which is 46. IvanHoe in my RL.
Actually it is IvanHoe B49jax64 1cpu x64.

Best,

Latest top 1cpu x64 ratings (blitz: 3+3) :

Code: Select all

1 Houdini 1.03a 1cpu 3327
2 Rybka 4 1cpu 3316
3 IvanHoe 46 1cpu 3300
4 FireBird 1.3.1 1cpu 3300
5 Igorrit 0.086v9 1cpu 3296
6 Stockfish 1.9.1 1cpu 3259
Number of games : between 300 and 700

Perhaps it is appropriate here to add that latest IvanHoe builds has two
seperate versions, one for game play and the other one for analysis.

I have made use of only a couple of latest IH_analyse on DF11 GUI's
full analysis and blunder check functions.

My impressions from last weeks so far:

For full analysis R4 is far ahead.
Houdini, FireBird and IvanHoe stop just after some thirty games.
(I suppose this could be a small bug)

For batch blunder checking of thousands of positions, R4 stops when
a mate is found (I suppose this could be a small bug).
On the other hand I found IH9999949 is superior than others mentioned.
