This Sunday at 1100 PlayChess server time, in the Engine room, see the latest round of the Collectors Corner Challenge.

The 1989 Hiarcs 0.6, playing on its 1989 olympiad hardware, was victorious 2-1 against the Fidelity Excellence.

So this Sunday operated again by Mark it will destroy Blincoes's Fidelity Mach 1.

Best Wishes,

Harvey

Destroy the Mach I.. say you??

i think not

especially because it should be pointed out that i will be operating the Excel 68000 Mach 1B
the Mach 1A when initially released contained several bugs most notably in its mate search algorithm
this was corrected in the Mach IB version
the world renown Selective Search lists show a rating for the Mach IA of 1818 while the far more powerful Mach 1B tips the scales at an alarming 1845 on the lists

i think Mark is not aware i am using the 1B so there is no need to

Tell Him Regards
Steve
Hi Steve,

Told him!

Dismissive reply: The Amiga/H awaits its next cannon fodder opponent...

Dismissed Regards,

Team Hiarcs
hi Harvey
just want to firm up some match details

Mach I will be set to 15 seconds per move and H.06\Amiga twice that time.. correct?

also..match is two games with a third decider to be played next week or if possible this Sunday time permitting

Confirming Regards
Steve

Hi Ray,

You have to be there to watch Blincoe explode under the pressure. This is the match! Who needs WCCC or Freestyle. This is real Computer Chess with games you can watch, understand and learn from as you watch Steve's machine lose 2-0.

CU there,

Harvey

that RIGHT Harvey

these history making games ARE the real thing
no money involved..no financial gain..
only for the chess...pure and simple
i do it for the love of my hobby and so does Mark
not to mention you ..who gets paid nothing for your work with Hiarcs

and ALL of the friends,Collectors and others that come to watch and enjoy the games

all of us ..although we come from different perspectives of the hobby do it for no other reason then for the smile of the Goddess of Chess..Caissa

but of course that does not mean that any of us are above making grave mistakes..indeed even we are prone to fatal blunders

as evidenced by you match prediction!

Trash Talking Regards
Steve
