Well, steve, to be frank, it is a shame you ever got such a position and even a worst shameful is that the computer did not see the fall of his proud bishop.
So, in punishment you will get any book for beginners and learn a couple of things about openings.
About the computer, I comdem him to be sent without delay to my hands
I will know how to punish him regards
Fernando

For a friend I am always ready to admit anything and tolerate anything, even the preposterous idea you played a good ending.
A nasty guy would say that you just blasted an already dead corpse.
2100 elo cruel regards

the days of University chess team competition are long behind me
today..a win is a win
no matter against Rybka running on a dual core quad Opteron or against my nephew of 12 who just learned the rules of Chess
no matter from a brilliant combinational sacrifice 15 moves deep or a cheapo swindle
i Take What I can Get Regards

Hi Steve,
I would have been interested to see what Mark V would have played as white after Rh5 if it was set on 40 moves in 2 hours. One interesting continuation I saw was:
...Rh5
g4!? Rh4
f3 f6
g5
Novel Regards

Due up next for its annual check up is the Renaissance Sparc-4MB
as is well known the Renaissance board a FULL Tournament Sized Auto-Sensory board with a sliding LCD panel showing the position on the board with LCD pieces and a mine of information
the Sparc OSA module contains the very last commercially released chess program from the Spracklens after they left Fidelity and moved over to Saitek
more common for the Sparc module which runs at 20 Mhz is 1MB for hash table Ram
however Saitek did offer a 4MB ram upgrade which this baby has
normally rated 2218(SS) the extra Ram could add perhaps 25-30 Elo if end game positions are reached in match play
rather then put this monster through its paces in the confines of my private examination rooms i am taking the Sparc on the road for some "live testing"
On Playchess Tomorrow morning against Harvey Williamson's Mephisto London 030-33 Mhz rated at 2314
2 games..30 minute Blitz..Winner to receive an autographed copy of CCC member Jonathon Parles new and revised RFT Chessmaster Diamond manual
Loser to clean up the examination room afterwards
The Saitek Rennaisance board:
