But both lines are really around +2 anyway.
Yes, Carlsen is on the edge scoring!

Carlsen is taking time to think, while SF4 reverted to Rh6+ as best continuation:

Code: Select all

+2.11/31 5.Rh6+ Kb5 6.Bxb3 axb3 7.Kxb3 c4+ 8.Kc3 Ra1 9.Kb2 Re1 10.Rxh4 Rxe5 11.Rh3 Re2+ 12.Kc3 Rxg2 13.Rh5+ Ka4 14.Kxc4 Kxa3 15.Rh8 Rg4+ 16.Kd5 Rg1 17.h4 Rd1+ 18.Kc5 Rc1+ 19.Kd4 Rd1+ 20.Ke4 Re1+ 21.Kf3 Re7 22.h5 Kb4 23.h6 Kc5 24.h7

Not easy to chose which move is best here, and Carlsen is probably scratching his head as well. He has 32 minutes left while Anand has 27.

Carlsen is still thinking, while at depth 33 Rh6+ is now taking a good lead according to SF:

[d]6B1/8/2k4R/2p1P3/p6p/Pb6/1K4PP/6r1 b - - 8 5
And Anand answered with Kd7 (SF's fourth choice...) inaccuracy after inaccuracy Anand is heading toward a lost ending...

Magnus is squeezing blood from a stone..... as usual ?
But his white games are really boring.
Its more Anand going wrong than Magnus playing brilliantly.
I find it a shame such a low preparation at that level from Magnus.
