Thanks for the games. Perhaps the McMad gambit is just a little too mad?
I didn't get what was wrong with Rg8, except that it ruins the idea of possibly doubling rooks on the h file. So this might indeed have made it a bad move. But i'm not sure.

Apparently both of you ARE sure now.

You're an idiot.
Proclaims McDouchebag the super troll.
You really are a lowlife scumbag. You don't play chess, you don't program chess software and you only have a chess program to sandbag unsuspecting players online. But somehow I'm the troll, super troll no less and the douchebag. Do you rehearse you lines in front of a mirror? Mc Mania? Are you off your lithium?

Where's your pal Giftie? Hasn't posted in awhile. A bit unusual don't you think? Did you lose your only friend?

Are you your only friend?

No, only one of them understands the position. Only one of them is certain.

It isn't Mc Mongo. Only a pawn in the board of life.

I think that mccmad has been 4 things. (Jack lad he readily admits anyway). But certainly not Gift.

And Davenport? A new person!
Maybe THAT's someone we already know?

Martin Devenport, unlike Mc Moniker is a real person and chess master.

You're aware that Jack Lad, his user name is a fictious name a pseudonym? That the handle Mc Mad is an affront to McCracken?
As long as he can keep crawling out from under his rock hiding in the shadows he'll continue to be a Royal Pain in the Neck!

Mc Cmad was created to be vs McCracken? Interesting thought!

But what i just asked now was about Gerold Daniels, who is he? Does he have no other name in CTF/CCC?

Not to my knowledge. I suspect he is who says he is.

Well played Martin!

25... Rhg8? was an error and I should have played Bc6 instead and although white still has the advantage I think black should be able to hold the draw with careful and precise play.

25..Rhg8 wasn't a mistake, Bc6 made little difference. The resulting position from the Mc Mad Gambit, accepted or declined is the error.

It's no good for blitz either, you'll have your head served to you by strong players.
