Did you try to check the "Remember Me" checkbox when logging in?

If you login your session is bound to your, one, IP-address, you can not switch your session between IPs from different providers for security reasons, session hijacking.

Strange, I never need to log in again after an IP change. But I also tick the "Remember me" checkbox when logging in.

....maybe I got it wrong, and I do not know, what the 'Remember me' checkbox does.

I would be very surprised if it does anything other than add a login cookie to the browser accessing the website.
