actually Gerold we have 40 moves to go for the 50 move rule
last pawn move was at move ..65.g3
50 moves from there brings us to move 115
dont worry though
the R30 will probably be advancing one of its pawns in the near future ..resetting the 50 move count

I wonder if this thread is the longest in ctf, ccc, if not the whole of the internet, ever. (views/posts).

Ke7 perhaps but that g pawn could start to get dangerous, or Rf2+ ?
One thing for sure, as has already been pointed out, we need to keep our bishop on the board

I'll vote for Rf2+ but I could change that if there are good arguments put forward for a different move :wink:

In 32 moves you will be so tired or R30 will be that it will call a
draw. :)
