The whole point of Open Source is to share ideas and techniques. Nothing wrong in using the best known ideas from Open Source. In contrary it is highly desirable!
My post wasn't related to a special Engine. Kai was talking about "assimilated Fruit Code" which is illegal. He said Authors are idiots if they don't "assimilate" Fruit and Stockfish code.
SO no, I don't remove illegal because it IS illegal to assimilate gpl Code.

This thread started out as an informative thread about Aquarium and Houdini.
It got disrupted by the usual suspects whose only purpose is to insult and derail the thread from its intended purpose.
Moderators see it happen, and do nothing to prevent it from happening.

It would be quite a misrepresentation if Houdini was reduced to being called a "based on Robbolito" program.
It's rather like saying that Peter must admit that he himself is merely a bathroom decoration. Oh no sorry! I didn't want to say this, anyway one other thought:
Perhaps there should be another forum about money or legality topics, and all these discussions can be moved to there.
I honestly feel it all belongs somewhere else.
