You really think, all what did not work here with java 8.151, but again works with reinstalling 8.141,
will suddenly work again with java 9? I doubt that.

BTW my OS is WIN7-64 Ultimate BTW on an old core-2 quadcore w/o popcount.

Yes I doubted it, but after unstalling 8.141 and removing all left entries in my system manually and reinstalling now the new java 9JRE
and adding the environment variable also manually (java 9 did not set it automatically), surpisingly the first 5 checked programs really worked!
(still around 60 to check...but I guess all will be ok now)

Do you have any idea why 8.151 did not work but 8.141 and now the newer 9.01??

Thanks for persuading me to try java 9 despite my doubts :)

Glad it is resolved :)
No idea why you had a problem with 8.151. Maybe it was an installation issue.
