Two weeks ago he was chatting on nTCEC chat. Talked about the scaling with depth reached by engines, usual interesting stuff from him. Brave human, I would have chickened out having only two more weeks. Rest in peace.

I don't know how painful his disease was in the end. Looks like he didn't have to suffer very long. Although I did not expect his life to end so soon.

Rest in peace Mr. Dailey your contribution to chess programming was and will remain valuable for a long time to come, too bad that you did not have enough time to finish your other project to make the best shogi program in the West. RIP my online distance friend
