Who is hosting Arena illegally now?

It's interesting that you bring up the incident with me over Arena from years ago when the Arena license stated that I didn't need permission to host it as I wasn't making any money from it.

We all know what happened during that incident:

1. I asked for permission and was banned from your site.
2. I hosted it based on the license agreement, which was legal.
3. Chris Conkie had my site removed, and in doing so the CCT community lost most of the data from CCT 7. Thanks for that btw.. people still email me over the data and games.

What did all that prove? The same thing as today. Your "team" has no issue with trouncing on people if you feel the need to (Chessbase or anything else chess related), but the moment you aren't respected, you whine like a little school girl who spilled milk on her dress.

Glad to see not much has changed in 6 years...

Hi,

The Russians... You needed a written permission to host it. You didn't have it. You are welcome... Anytime. I still enjoy your old mails :)

You might have to be more specific, because there are about 700 million Russians around the World.

All of them are hosting it? If that's the case, I wouldn't be pissed, I would be impressed. 700 million people hosting a single program..

Hi,

They are immortal. But 700 Mio is exagerated :) Belive me, they are not even 300 Mio. We at Arena can count...

I am not impressed if someone is not able to read and act accordingly.

Michael, your cryptic posts are hard for the casual reader on this forum to understand your problem. Please state explicitly what has been happening.Otherwise you are just making noise.

In all honesty, I don't usually pay attention to much to your threads, except for when you are being a complete lunatic. Those are enjoyable and fun to watch.

And surely there are 700 million Russian Worldwide based on a World population of 6.91 billion. During the Soviet Union era, there were about 300 million then. That wasn't counting Worldwide Russians. During the past 20 years, you would have to figure they would have at least grown in size just like the rest of the population. Some Countries have doubled in size over the past twenty years.

I know how to count as well, and oddly, I'm not part of the Arena team. Who knew the rest of us have intelligence..

Hello,

There is a Russian forum who has copied info from the Arena page:
1)without asking for permission
2)without citing the source
3) without publishing the entire interview

They are also illegaly hosting Arena.

We do not ask for money but they should at least show so much respect and do the right thing. Nevermind, I don't expect that from people from that part of the world.

Articles from the Arena page have been published in Spain, France, Italy,... people asked for permission and got an answer. It seems this too difficult for those people.

Arena is free. Why do you care who hosts it??????
