I decide to run a Small Tournament between Fruit SMP and top Commercial engines like I wanted to test my new Fritz 11 too.

This is not even halfwway , However Rybka 2.3.2 is already at the top and will finish 1st Very Happy

Interesting things is that i m running this Test with a tournament book , Sedat Perfect X Beta , A very strong opening book (who finished first in his test and Pavel Tests )

Naum with Tournament book is doing very good ... better than expected .
Zappa is still Zappa Mexico very and should finished 2nd or in the top 3

Fruit SMP Beta is fighting vs Deep shredder 11 for the 4th place
Remember this is just a beta Version with some bugs ( just to test SMP support and correct some bugs, However it is doing very good )

Fritz 11 improve 100 elo (cf : Chessbase claims.. and I agree with that). However On this test It is not doing good , the reason is very simple the 5 others chess engine are SMP (and all played with 8 cpu ) ...

You should have used Glaurung 2 instead of Fritz 11.

Like Expected, Rybka won with only 1 loss on 50 games !!!!! (very strong engine + very strong book = almost invincible )

2nd is Zappa Mexico
3rd Naum 2.2
4 th Fruit SMP a very good performance for Fruit SMP
5 th Surprising : This is Fritz 11 with no SMP support, It did very well almost same score than for Fruit SMP and did better than Deep Shredder 11
6 th It was a tough match for he 4 th place , however at the end DS 11 finished 6 th .

Yes...Rybka as always a Monster !!!

I see that Deep Shredder was not so lucky,i will check the games,if the its book reason,before final release i will fix the disadvantage lines.
