Alice, I remember about, was written in GAP !
Mr.Sven Reichard is , also, the author of Snooze - a nice private program.

I have Alice 0.35 somewhere in my war bunker, but unfortunately today I'm far from my IASI ! Just wait a bit ! With Snooze nothing to do. If you want I can do a mach Snooze - ZChess 2.00 just for you !
