Donna v4.0 released

Post by mid » Fri Jan 08, 2016 7:40 pm

I've been working on and off on this for the past few months. In 40/60 self-play it consistently beats previous version by about 60% margin. However, only Graham can tell whether it's actually stronger and by how much. :D

As usual the latest builds are available for download at http://donnachess.github.io

On a side note -- I am joining one rather secretive company in the valley and will have to put open source contributions on hold. This might be the last Donna version in a long while.

Enjoy!

All the best with your new job. Hope you don't 'disappear' for too long. :)

Thanks Sylwy! If you have bandwidth to re-run the same test with Donna 3.1 that would be great.
